For four days, several artists vibrate the beach of mills to the sound of world music, soul, jazz, dub, funk and other styles of black music. Afternoons at the beach are filled with an open access schedule that includes DJ Sets and concerts with a lot of groove. At the end of the last night of the event, the public goes down to the beach to celebrate the music in communion with the vibrant nature of the place. The festival’s musical direction is the result of a long-standing partnership and friendship between Adrian Sherwood, host and resident DJ of the festival, and Filipe Tavares, creator and director of the festival.
